Neuropathy
Nerve System Disease
What is it?
Neuropathy starts as a lack of function and eventually leads to death of the nerve cells. The results of
such damage include impaired sensation or pain in the
feet or hands, slowed digestion of food in the stomach, carpal tunnel
syndrome and other nerve problems. No one can restore a dead cell to life, but
cells that are functioning at less than a normal level, often can be restored to better function using the Human Engine approach.
Who has it?
About 60-70% of people with diabetes have mild to severe forms of nervous system damage. Severe forms
of diabetic nerve disease are a major contributing cause of lower-extremity amputations.
How can we help?
Optimum levels of Oxygen, Fuel and Spark are needed by every cell in the body to work properly. Each cell needs fuel. We do a nutrition work up to find what your cells need, more specifically, what they're lacking to function better. Each cell needs oxygen. We measure oxygen levels to see if this vital "nutrient" is lacking. Nerve cells are more sensitive to slight deficiencies of oxygen than other cells in the body. Nerve cells need spark/activation to work at all. We evaluate your nerve system to find out if there are specific areas where activation is lacking. Improving all or any of these 3 areas is likely to significantly improve your nerve system functions.
